It has always been my dream to have more females in competitive gaming, but there is just something holding them back. I personally think it’s money. Money has a lot to do with LAN events. There’s plane tickets, hotel fee’s, entry fee’s, transportation, and food for the weekend. This is a very expensive sport and there aren’t many females out there that are willing to pay for all these things. Also, I’ve noticed a huge trend, and this is extremely random, girls only like to play with GIRLS? Why is that? Do we feel more comfortable around our own estrogen? I’m not sure. Personally, I choose to team with girls because I would just love to make semi pro or pro with an all female team. That would be EPIC! But it’s also a way to get good publicity….we really don’t do it for attention because we just walk into the venue and we are already getting all the attention we need. We win! <3 I actually was on a Co-Ed team once for MLG Vegas. I thought it went really smooth; we all performed and got a long just fine.

I find it interesting to see girls and guys working together as one! I wish my aspects could be shared with the big leagues, but sadly it won’t, so I will just try this new concept in the gaming industry first.

vVv Gaming would like to start an online gears of war CO-ED 4v4 tournament! Each team would need to have 2 girls and 2 boys on the team. By doing this, we would like to relinkquish the male dominate teams and mix it up a little bit. Lets give the guys some girls to talk to since half of them are too shy to do it in the first place. And for the winners, they will recieve a certain high number of microsoft points.  I seriously think that this could work, and it could possibly make LAN events and other games other than Gears of War.
